Welcome to Day One of our Jingle Jam Countdown where we will be spotlighting our DAY TWO Artist Denise Ward who is –performing GOOD CHRISTIAN MEN. REJOICE.
Denise Ward is a classically trained Opera Singer who graduated with a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance at Boston University. She is a Houston native who currently lives in New York City. She is a graduate of the Houston High School of Visual and Performing Arts. She is also an accomplished actor whose credits include Mother Lee in Liberators: An American Musical at Queensbury Theatre and Morningstar Theatrical and as Sis. Noreen in the Staged Reading of Three Crosses at The Ensemble Theatre Houston. She was also an Ensemble actor in the TUTS production of "Ragtime" directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge and choreographed by Josh Walden. Denise was also cast as a soprano chorus member in various operas during the HGO Season. Attended scheduled rehearsals and performances in the Wortham Theater in the Theater District of Downtown Houston throughout the week in the evenings and at various times on weekends. Contracted to appear in Houston Grand Opera's 2019-2020 season production of The Favorite.
